Period clothes are wonderful, and it doesn't take much of an excuse to wear them - a costume ball, a theatrical production, a living history event.... Would you like to be Elizabeth Bennet in pretty and practical walking clothes, Marianne Dashwood in wildly romantic white muslin, or Lady Susan in a stylish riding habit?

I also make replica costume for Museums; for handling collections, for performances, for staff to wear, and even for display, to illustrate clothing technology.

I am also available to advise museums on the social history of costume, and sourcing replica accessories.

Theatre companies requiring historically accurate costume have come to me for advice, and making their clothing.

Previous clients include,

York Castle Museum, Jorvik viking centre, National Railway Museum, Bowes Museum, Soho House Museum.

If you can imagine it, I can probably make it. Then contact me for a quote on your requirements.
